The Tigers were on cruise control on offense all night against Louisiana-Monroe, but John Chavis' defense was absolutely dominant against an overmatched opponent for the second straight week. LSU posted its second straight shutout -- the first time that's happened since 1985 -- and hasn't surrendered a point in the last 31 possessions. Since falling behind Wisconsin 24-7 in the third quarter of their opener, the Tigers have outscored their opponents 108-0.
