Former LSU football player and current outside linebacker coach Dennis Johnson has signed a two-year contract with the school worth $180,000 a year, according to The Advocate:
quote:

Johnson will make $180,000 a year in a contract that runs through the 2018 season, according to a copy of the agreement that the school made available. Johnson, a 28-year-old Mississippi native, worked as a defensive graduate assistant before his September promotion. He worked as a transient employee, receiving an hourly rate, during his interim stint in October, November and December.

He’s the latest assistant to sign a new contract, joining defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, secondary coach Corey Raymond and new offensive coordinator Matt Canada.
