LSU CB Jalen Collins could be headed to the NFL Draft.
Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
Rand Getlin with Yahoo Sports is reporting that junior LSU cornerback Jalen Collins will likely enter the NFL Draft.

Some inside the Tigers program believe it's a foregone conclusion that Collins will skip his senior season at LSU, sources said. Collins requested a draft grade from the NFL's college advisory committee, The Advocate (La.) reported on Wednesday.

Collins hasn't made any official declarations – he told reporters Wednesday, "I've thought about it a couple times, but I haven't made any final decisions yet," according to ESPN.com – but he has met with agents and is in the process of narrowing down his list of prospective representatives, sources said.
Through 12 games this season, Collins had one interception, nine pass breakups and 33 tackles.

Nfl teams love this shite. They get a good player at a fraction of the price they'd get if he stayed and developed into a higher pick. LC would have had that happen if he didn't establish himself as a higher pick with an extra year of development.

He will get drafted alot higher than many fans expect him to go. The NFL is different than college. They look for certain skill sets and Collins has them. Long, rangy, and good speed you can't coach that. He will get coached up on everything else.

Hope he comes back for his Sr. year and improve his stock ... I really don't think he is a lock to be drafted in top 5 rounds ....

He has the size that NFL teams are looking for in a cornerback. He will be a good pro.

Really not as good as Patrick and tyrann your Only talking about the best nfl corner back right now and one of the best instinctive players in lsu history. My point he might not compare to those two but he could still be a great corner in nfl.

Not to be a "playa" hater, Ill give him the benefit of the doubt, but he's not near in the class of Patrick Peterson or Tyrann Matheiu... Late round pick if not free agent.... Best of luck either way....

Long rangy corner with speed that can stay on his WR. Possible fourth round pick.

Should come back to show us what he can do with a pass rush. Don't see a DB getting drafted high with only one pick
