LSU defensive analyst Dennis Johnson could be joining Dave Aranda's staff at Baylor as defensive line coach, according to Football Scoop.

Nothing is official or confirmed at this moment.

Baylor: Source tells FootballScoop that Dave Aranda plans to bring LSU analyst Dennis Johnson with him to Waco. Johnson coached the outside linebackers Ed Orgeron’s first two seasons at LSU before moving to defensive line. An injury to Johnson’s knees prompted a move to analyst heading into the 2019 season.
Another report from has Johnson headed to Baylor while 104.5 Baton Rouge Radio reported that Johnson will remain at LSU.

Johnson played at LSU from 2009-11 and became a grad assistant working with the Tigers' defensive line from 2014-2015.

He was promoted to outside linebacker coach in 2016 and was named defensive line coach in 2019 but was unable to coach after suffering a double knee injury during fall camp last year.

Ed Orgeron hired longtime NFL defensive line coach Bill Johnson to take over the DL coaching duties while Dennis was out this past season.
