LSU safety Grant Delpit and kicker Cole Tracy both took home SEC Player of the Week honors from the league office on Monday.

Delpit was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week and Tracy was named Special Teams Player of the Week. Per SECSports.com:

-Led LSU with 10 tackles to go with a sack for an 8-yard loss and a pair of interceptions in the 19-3 win over Mississippi State.

-His sack came on fourth-and-three at the LSU 37 to end that third quarter drive, while his second interception came at LSU 5-yard line late in fourth quarter.

-Overall, defensive leader that helped hold the Bulldogs to 260 total yards, including 59 through the air ... Mississippi State was 2-of-14 on third-down opportunities.

-After giving up a field goal on State's second possession, the Bulldogs' final 11 possessions of the game ended with 7 punts, three interceptions and a turnover on downs.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Cole Tracy, PK, LSU


-Kicked four field goals on four attempts in LSU's 19-3 win over No. 22 Mississippi State.

-Ran his streak to 12 straight field goals without a miss ... Field goals came from 25, 38, 29 and 40 yards.

-First player in LSU history to kick 9 field goals in a two-game span (tied school-record with 5 field goals last week vs. Georgia).

-Is now 21-of-23 for the season and hasn't missed a kick inside the 50-yard line in 2018 (two misses are from 53 yards) ... Leads nation in field goals (21).
