Following LSU's 38-0 win over New Mexico, head coach Brian Kelly revealed that starting safety Major Burns did not play on Saturday night due to an upper neck injury and will be out for three-six weeks.
Kelly added that Burns has been cleared to play, but the injury requires some rest.
LSU will get safety Joe Foucha back next week against Auburn as he just finished a four-game academic suspension due to his transfer from Arkansas.
