LSU Releases Spring Football Roster

LSU released their spring football roster this week which included a few changes and four additions:

-Senior linebacker Lamar Louis has switched from No. 23 to No. 11.

-Senior safety Corey Thompson, who wore No. 12 last season has taken No. 23.

-Sophomore wide receiver Avery Peterson has taken Rashard Robinson’s No. 21 jersey now that Robinson is no longer on the team. Peterson wore No. 2 last season.

-Sophomore safety John Battle is switching from No. 30 to No. 26.

-Sophomore linebacker Clifton Garrett has switched from No. 3 to No. 30

Four early enrollees for class of 2016 have received their jersey numbers:
CB Kevin Toliver II: No. 2
RB/FB David Ducre: No. 41
QB Justin McMillan: No. 12
TE Hanner Shipley: No. 84

The first day of spring practice will begin on March 7 and the Spring Game will be played on April 18th.
