LSU outside linebacker target Shanon Reid from Fort Myers, FL (Dunbar) will be announcing his decision next week, according to SEC Country.

Reid got his offer from LSU on Sunday and received a visit from LSU defensive back coach Corey Raymond on Tuesday night.

quote:

Three-star linebacker Shanon Reid, who added an offer from LSU on Sunday evening, is scheduled to announce his commitment on Dec. 7, Reid confirmed to SEC Country.

Reid, a 6-foot-2, 205-pounder from Dunbar High School (Fort Myers, Fla.), is the No. 44-ranked outside linebacker in the Class of 2017.

The timing favors the Tigers. After all, Reid will make his inaugural visit to Baton Rouge this weekend. It will be an official visit along with his family.
Reid will likely be deciding between LSU, Michigan, and Tennessee.

So bama gets a blue chip in our backyard and we will grab a low rated 3 star. This won't help solve the problem

You're an idiot if you think this. Coach Aranda has been teaching 1-3 stars at other schools and had top 5 defenses. You think he can't do it again. Lol. You're crazy. Plus all 5 star blue chip athletes aren't always the best choices.

oh i hope this guy committs to lsu. damn this guy has talent. could care less bout that allen guy that committed to bama but that dylan moses. i pray that lsu lands him. he is badly needed at lsu and would contribute right away. aranda can develope anyone and get on field right away.

well he's a 4 star on other sites. But did you look at his speed? he's 205 and runs a 4.4. He's tall and fast, thats what Aranda wants bc his LB's play a hybrid position by lining up on the line of scrimmage and either drop into coverage or pass rush
