LSU junior defensive lineman Frank Herron did not travel with the team to Orlando for the Tigers Bowl Game against Louisville, coach Ed Orgeron announced Friday.

Orgeron said the decision for "strictly because of academics," but said Herron will be with the team in the Spring.
