LSU's Rashard Robinson will not play against Alabama on Saturday night.

Multiple sources are reporting that starting LSU cornerback Rashard Robinson will likely not play against Alabama while serving a suspension.

Robinson, a sophomore and preseason All-SEC third team member, has started the last six games for No. 14 LSU (7-2, 3-2 Southeastern), which hosts the Crimson Tide (7-1, 4-1) at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Details of the suspension were not known. Robinson has missed all or most of this past week’s practice, one source said.

With Robinson out, LSU will call on junior cornerback Jalen Collins to step up in his place.
