LSU coach Les Miles explained to Baton Rouge media Friday afternoon why player availability this fall has been less than previous seasons.

Neither quarterbacks Brandon Harris or Anthony Jennings have spoken with the media since practice started and noticeably missing from interviews has been star running back Leonard Fournette.

Per NOLA.com:
quote:

"I appreciate too that you guys have not clamored for more access," he told the media. "'Let me in, let me in, let me in.' There's some veteran teams I would have given a rat about having you guys around practice and having multiple interviews. But it's nice for a young team to focus on those things they need to get accomplished, improve, recognize that this is a singular focus. It's a football life. They're going to walk across those line, the other 10 guys depend on them and they've got to get it right.

"I think you'll find real quick we'll reopen and be business as usual. I want to make sure its' a clean and clear focus on their position."

Love what he said and that quote, " I’m guiding a thoroughbred and I want it to be focused at the finish line".

I'm so damn ready!
