Les Miles Declines To Provide Update On Injured OT Toby Weathersby
by Staff Reporter
September 21, 20161 Comments
LSU head coach Les Miles met with the media after practice on Wednesday and chose not to reveal any information on injured offensive tackle Toby Weathersby. Per The Advocate:
quote:Miles said that Maea Teuhema will replace Weathersby this Saturday vs. Auburn if he cannot play.
"(His) status is healthy and alive," he said when asked a second time about Weathersby's health.
Weathersby, a sophomore from Texas, was seen in a walking boot on his right foot Monday after spraining the ankle during the second quarter of LSU's 23-20 win over Mississippi State last Saturday. Tight end Colin Jeter, while blocking, fell on Weathersby's ankle.
