It was announced Tuesday by the PwC SMU Athletic Forum that LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette is one of three finalist for the Doak Walker Award. Per LSUSports.net:

Fournette currently leads the nation in both rushing yards (1,582) and rushing yards per game (158.2) and is among the national leaders with 17 rushing touchdowns, which is just two shy of tying the school record.
2015 Doak Walker Award Finalists:
Leonard Fournette (LSU)
Derrick Henry (Alabama)
Christian McCaffrey (Stanford)
