ESPN’s Mark Schlabach released his updated bowl projections for the 2018 season and have LSU playing Purdue in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.

The Gator Bowl is played at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, FL on New Year's Eve at 7:30 pm.

If the game happens, it will be the first time that both schools have played each other on the football field.

Here is what Schlabach predicted for the College Football Playoff:
CFP Orange Bowl: Clemson vs. Washington
CFP Cotton Bowl: Alabama vs. Wisconsin
CFP Championship: Clemson vs. Alabama
