Chris Low with ESPN.com put together a list of the top 10 SEC linebackers for 2014, and LSU's Kwon Alexander came in at No. 7.

Here is his complete Top 10:

1. Benardrick McKinney, RJr., Mississippi State
2. Leonard Floyd, So., Georgia
3. Curt Maggitt, RJr., Tennessee
4. Trey DePriest, Sr., Alabama
5. A.J. Johnson, Sr., Tennessee
6. Serderius Bryant, Sr., Ole Miss
7. Kwon Alexander, Jr., LSU
8. Denzel Devall, Jr., Alabama
9. Jordan Jenkins, Jr., Georgia
10. Ramik Wilson, Sr., Georgia:

7. Kwon Alexander, Jr., LSU: Making the move to weakside linebacker in LSU's defense, the 6-2, 218-pound Alexander should make even more big plays in 2014. He has tremendous speed and the versatility to play all three linebacker spots. But with Lamin Barrow departing, the Tigers need him most on the weak side.

Kwon will need to add 10 to 15lbs. if he wants to play in the NFL...If the 218 weight is still correct.

I thought highly of this guy coming in and can't believe that he might be leaving early for the league already. It's a damn good thing that LSU has been recruiting well at LB.

Interesting that Kwon is a spot ahead of Devall since they were recruits in the same year and ended up trading states.
