LSU senior linebacker Kendell Beckwith suffered a knee injury Saturday against Florida and will not play this Thursday vs. Texas A&M, according to coach Ed Orgeron who met with media on Monday.

Orgeron also added that running back Leonard Fournette is a game-time decision for Thursday's game.

Beckwith suffered a knee injury late in the first quarter vs Florida and did not return to the game.

Fournette has been dealing with a lingering ankle injury all season long and was not expected to play vs Florida. After a pregame scuffle with the Gators, Fournette ended up dressing out for the game and played 20 snaps. He rushed for 40 yards on 12 carries.

Actually, I think we would be wise to sit Leonard. He's a great player, but we're far too predictable when he's in the game. Ensminger doesn't know how to use him, or anyone else for that matter. Besides, it's almost a meaningless game at this point, so don't jeopardize Fournette's career in the NFL. Guice, Williams and Brosette can carry the load. I would really like to see a win after Saturday's lame effort. Geaux Tigers!

With no LF7 or KB52, this might be the year A&M pulls it off. I hope I'm wrong...

We thought we would beat Florida at home because of all their injuries. I'm sure A&M might be saying the same. We can EASILY beat them, and I honestly think we beat them again.
