LSU safety JaCoby Stevens was named the SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row on Monday after his dominant performance vs. Auburn.

He shared the honor with Tennessee linebacker Daniel Bituli. Per SECSports.com:

-Led LSU with 10 tackles as the Tigers won their third game against a Top 10 opponent, beating Auburn 23-20 in Tiger Stadium.

-Paced an LSU defense that held Auburn to 287 total yards (130 rushing, 157 passing) ... Auburn went into the game leading the SEC in rushing offense at 240 yards per game.

-In second half and after Auburn took a 13-10 lead, LSU's defense forced Auburn to punt on six consecutive possessions as LSU regained the lead, extending its advantage to 23-13 during that span.

-LSU held Auburn to 5-of-18 on third-down opportunities and forced Auburn to punt 10 times.
