CBS Sports Updates College Football Bowl Predictions After Week 2

CBS Sports released its updated college football bowl predictions following Week 2 and has LSU making the 12-team playoff.

The Tigers are projected as the No. 8 seed and would host No. 9 USC in a first-round playoff matchup.

LSU improved to 2-0 with a 45-14 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday. Quarterback Sam Leavitt threw three interceptions but still made an impact with his legs, rushing for three touchdowns.

The Tigers now turn their attention to a major SEC showdown at Ole Miss, where Lane Kiffin will return to Oxford for the first time as LSU's head coach.

CBS Sports currently projects Georgia as the SEC champion and No. 2 overall seed in the playoff.
