Former LSU kicker Trent Domingue will transferring to Texas.

Domingue previously announced that he will be leaving the LSU football program after his scholarship was not renewed. Texas head coach Charlie Strong confirmed the transfer on Sunday night. Per Fox Sports:

"We're obviously thrilled that Trent decided to join our program," Strong said. "What a great addition in a critical position of need for us. Trent's an experienced and proven kicker who has had a great deal of success at the highest level and competed in pressure situations. He'll be a strong leader on our special teams, and we look forward to getting him on campus."
Domingue made 13 of 17 field goals for the Tigers last season.
