LSU coach Ed Orgeron joined 104.5 ESPN's "Off the Bench," Tuesday morning and confirmed that five-star early enrollees Arik Gilbert and Elias Ricks both underwent recently shoulder surgeries and provide a timetable for their return.

"Looking at Elias Ricks- a tall cornerback. He had a shoulder operation but he's going to ready sometime mid-spring. Outstanding athlete. One of the best players in the county at his position."

"Arik Gilbert- he's one of the best tight ends to come out in the last 15-20 years but he can also play X and Z. He's not going to go through spring ball because of an operation on his shoulder."
