Joel Klatt Reveals His Updated Top 10 After Week 2

Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt has LSU at No. 5 in his latest Top 10 rankings following Week 2 of the college football season.

The Tigers are coming off a win over Louisiana Tech that wasn't always pretty, particularly in the first half. Quarterback Sam Leavitt threw three interceptions, but LSU eventually pulled away to win 45-14 and improve to 2-0 on the season.

Despite the uneven performance, Klatt kept the Tigers inside his Top 5.

“I think LSU is going to be my number five team,” Klatt said. “Bit of a struggle in the first half against La Tech. Leavitt throws three picks. Remember, you're never as good as you think you are. You're never as bad as you think you are. So I've got LSU in there at five.”

LSU now turns its attention to a massive SEC road matchup against Ole Miss, as Lane Kiffin returns to Oxford for the first time since leaving the Rebels for LSU.
