Brian Kelly Talks About The Challenge Of Playing Texas A&M At Kyle Field Saturday Night

LSU coach Brian Kelly held his weekly press conference on Monday to preview the Tigers' upcoming road game at Texas A&M on Saturday night and talked about the challenge of playing the Aggies at Kyle Field.
The Tigers last beat the Aggies in College Station in 2016.
Kickoff between LSU and Texas A&M on Saturday night is at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
quote:LSU's all-time record against Texas A&M is 36-23-3. Homefield advantage has been a big deal in this recent series, as the home team has won in the last six games.
"It's a great challenge going to College Station. We'll have to play our very best. But there is a lot to play for, so we are excited about the challenge," Kelly said.
"There are different venues in this league, and they are all difficult, but I think when you go to A&M, it's a lot like coming to Tiger Stadium, and they kind of separate themselves."
"No knock on South Carolina or Arkansas, those are tough environments. But when you start to separate with maybe Neyland Stadium, going to Alabama, certainly A&M and Tiger Stadium... these are different."
"You have to prepare and understand that in that environment, you have to block out those distractions. Because if you don't, they will affect the outcome of certain games."
The Tigers last beat the Aggies in College Station in 2016.
