On Wednesday, LSU backup offensive guard Tyree Adams revealed that he had surgery to fix an undisclosed injury after posting a picture from a hospital bed.

Head coach Brian Kelly spoke with reporters on Thursday after practice and said that Adams suffered a sports hernia during Ole Miss pregame last week and is now "out" as he recovers from surgery.
quote:

"He had what would be considered a sports hernia and had to have surgery for it. So he's clearly out," Kelly said.

"It's something that happened in pregame. It's crazy. I've never seen it happen in over 30 years. He was taking all the reps with the second group, physically in good shape, lifting weights, and had this happen in pregame warmups. It's too bad. So he had to have surgery, and he's out."
It is unknown how long Adams will be out, but typical recovery after sports hernia surgery is 6-12 weeks.

Adams, a redshirt freshman from New Orleans, made one start this season vs. Nicholls, replacing Garrett Dellinger, who was out with an injury he suffered in the season opener.

I wish he would shed some light on Chris Hilton. At this point, he better be taking a medical redshirt.

Mascona said knee injury. He’s a hack and doesn’t have any real sources, but acts like he does.

Mascona is basically your brother in law at thanksgiving, he will talk talk talk and then later be like “see I told you!” about the 1 thing he was right about while pretending he never said all the nonsense babble that was wrong
