During his press conference on Monday, head coach Brian Kelly was asked about sophomore defensive end Gabe Reliford and his progress this offseason with the added edge transfers from the portal.
Kelly said that Reliford has really stepped up and accepted the challenge of the added competition and stood out as one of the best edge rushers on the team.
"He sees it as an opportunity to show he's the best at it," Kelly said.
