Brian Kelly spoke with the media on Monday and provided several team updates as the Tigers prepare for Citrus Bowl vs. Purdue.

One of those updates was about quarterback Jayden Daniels who is still recovering from an ankle injury that he suffered vs. Texas A&M and reinjured in the SEC Championship vs. Georgia.

Kelly was positive about Daniels, even saying that if they had a game tomorrow, he would be ready to go.

I hope that he sits it out and we see what Nussmeir and Walker do. Nothing against Daniels. Let him heal up completely.
