Brian Kelly Comments On Duce Chestnut's Status With The Team

During his post-practice press conference on Thursday, head coach Brian Kelly was asked if there was any update on cornerback Duce Chestnut, who is currently not with the team.
Kelly said that Chestnut is currently "inactive" but remains on the roster and on scholarship. Kelly did not elaborate any further.
When asked for an update on Chestnut earlier in the week, Kelly said they were "still processing" his situation.
The Syracuse transfer played in LSU's first four games this season and missed the last three. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out.
