LSU co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Joe Cox traveled up to Libertyville, Illinois, this week to visit with four-star tight end Brock Williams.

During his visit, Cox extended an offer to the dynamic playmaker.

Williams, a 6-5, 220-pounder, is rated the No. 2 tight end in the country and a Top-50 overall player for the class of 2027.

During his junior year this past season, Williams caught 44 passes for 596 and 11 touchdowns.

Williams was previously planning to announce his commitment in late 2025 between Texas, Georgia, and Ohio State, but will now take his recruitment into 2026.

Just ahead of Williams in the tight end rankings for 2027 is five-star Ruston, La. native Ahmad Hudson.

Do you think that the kids are putting together these Thank You posts...the tags, the graphics etc.? Or are the schools helping em with that?

Common courtesy. It's today's football lingo that is used all the time now. Like "first I'd like to thank God" etc when they are being interviewed

I love that the coaches are getting in on all these "TOP" players around the country. We won't get them all, but just getting some of them will be enough to keep us in the running for the playoffs every year
