Elite five-star wide receiver Terrace Marshall from Bossier City, LA stopped by LSU's campus for an unofficial visit on Tuesday.

Marshall, who received his offer from LSU in February of 2016, is the No. 1 wide receiver in the country and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Louisianna for the class of 2018 according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

His quarterback at Parkway High School is four-star dual-threat quarterback Justin Rogers who recently committed to TCU and both recruits have talked about playing together in college. Expect LSU and TCU to push hard to land Marshall.

I think Rogers needs Marshal a lot more than Marshal needs Rogers. Marshal can start for LSU as a true freshman. I don't think Rogers would ever crack the starting lineup for LSU. Not say he doesn't have talent, I just feel we have better talent in the QB room at this point. Wow, I never thought I would ever say that!

I agree with everyone: We need to lock this guy down. But his QB going to TCU will be a big hurdle to overcome. They've had a lot of success together. The coaches have their work cut out for them.

I’m just going down there to pay my visit, you know," Marshall told 247Sports. "Obviously, they’re going to be in my top schools when I release them.” I hope we get him

Terrace Marshall and Justin Rogers are best friends but Marshall has stated that he will do what's best for him in the long run

Why would any kid pick Texas Christian over LSU, much less a Louisiana kid? It is freaking TCU.

Rogers believes he won't get early playing time behind Scott, Brennan, Narcisse...he's probably right.

With the exception of OBJ and Landry most WR's that have signed with LSU have been grossly under utilized. (courtesy of Miles) Big Mett gave them the stage they needed to achieve. It's going to take at least one year of a proven passing game before recruiting battles like this become an afterthought.

Kid is a stud and will ball out in college and pros. Truly a "must get" for LSU.
