LSU: "Really, (former defensive coordinator) Coach (Kevin) Steele (now at Auburn) was at LSU and that's when I really started liking LSU. My family is from Louisiana so if I went to LSU, it would be like being at home for me. My mom was born two and a half hours from Baton Rouge in Winnsboro, Louisiana, LSU's always been special to me since Coach Steele was there. When (new defensive coordinator) Coach (Dave) Aranda came, I told him I hadn't been getting as much love since Coach Steele left and he flipped the switch immediately. They've been recruiting me just as hard as Auburn and Michigan. I talk to Coach Aranda almost every day now. Everything's been good with them and I can't wait to get there next weekend and visit."

“He always has a top defense,” he added, “and he’s someone I definitely want to play for.”
“I want to see the stuff outside of football,” the 6-foot-2, 238-pound prospect said. “When I visited (in October 2015), it was more about football. I want to see what they offer academically and would I be happy going to school there. If I got hurt, would I just be happy going to school there. That’s the biggest thing I’m looking at when I visit those schools.”
