Elite edge rusher Jamarion Carlton announced his top five schools this week and included LSU in the group.

LSU was the lone school to make Carlton's list outside the state of Texas, as he also has Texas A&M, Texas, Texas Tech, and Baylor in his top schools.

The 6-5, 240-pound prospect from Temple, Texas, is rated the No. 3 overall defensive lineman in the country for the class of 2026, according to 247Sports.

Carlton is fresh off a visit to LSU last weekend.

The way these kids are treated is beyond sickening. Sitting there kissing a 17 year old’s butt and showering him with gifts/bribing him to attend your school is cringe. They aren’t doing them a favor.

Fact. NIL would be easy to deal with if the portal wasn’t so out of control. The portal has destroyed the games on college.
