LSU forward Tari Eason was named SEC Player of the Week by the league office on Monday for his dominant performance vs. Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Per SECSports:

SEC Player of the Week - LSU forward Tari Eason, a 6-foot-8, 216-pound sophomore from Los Angeles, Calif., had a career high of 23 points in the Tigers win over Georgia Tech in Atlanta. He scored 16 points in the second half as LSU rallied from 34-30 down at halftime to win 69-53, outscoring the Yellow Jackets 39-19 in the final 20 minutes. Converted 9-of-13 (.692) of his field goals and added six rebounds and a pair of steals. Eason is 15-of-22 from the field in the month of December (two games) and 13-of-16 at the free throw line.

If you are not watching this basketball team you are missing out. Special group, and Tari may be the leader of the pack. This team’s ceiling is VERY high.
