LSU Sweeps Auburn, Wins Final Game 8-1

Per LSUSports.net: AUBURN, Ala. – Catcher Kade Scivicque and centerfielder Andrew Stevenson each drove in two runs Saturday, and left-hander Kyle Bouman earned the first SEC win of his career as eighth-ranked LSU completed a series sweep with an 8-1 win over Auburn at Plainsman Park.
LSU completed the regular season with a 40-14-1 overall mark, 17-11-1 in the SEC. LSU, which will be either the No. 3 or No. 4 seed, will play its first game in the SEC Tournament on Wednesday in Hoover, Ala., with the time and opponent still to be determined by the outcome of Saturday’s Mississippi State-Alabama game.
