Per LSUSports.net: LSU reliever Ty Floyd tallied three strikeouts in six innings during the resumption of game one against Ole Miss Saturday morning, as the No. 9 Tigers fell 5-3 inside Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
Floyd started for the Tigers after game one was delayed due to weather Friday. In his six innings, he allowed one run on two hits while striking out three.
Rebel starter Dylan Delucia picked up his fifth win of the season after throwing seven innings while giving up three runs on three hits. Before the contest was postponed Delucia toed the mound Friday night and continued pitching into Saturday’s resumed game. Brandon Johnson recorded his eighth save of the season.
