Per LSU ROUGE, La. -- In a show of offensive firepower on Saturday, LSU’s bats came alive as the second-ranked Tigers defeated Boston College, 16–2, to sweep the weekend series in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

The Tigers collected 21 hits, their highest hits output since May 13 of last season when LSU had 23 hits against Northwestern State.
