Per BATON ROUGE, La.-- LSU (8-1) earned its fifth-straight victory Friday night by defeating the Princeton Tigers (0-1) in the first game of the weekend series by a score of 3-2 in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

LSU returns to action Saturday with a doubleheader against Princeton beginning at 4 p.m. CT. The second game will start approximately 45 minutes following the conclusion of the first game in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
