LSU sophomore outfielder Andrew Stevenson has been named to 2014 Gregg Olson Award watch list. The Olson award honors college baseball's "Breakout Player of the Year.” Per LSUSports.net:

Stevenson, a product of Youngsville, La., hit .193 last season in 54 games for LSU; however, he is the Tigers' leading hitter in 2014. Stevenson is batting .348 (57-for-164) with five doubles, five triples, 28 RBI, 36 runs and eight stolen bases.

He is No. 6 in the SEC in batting average, No. 2 in triples and No. 9 in on-base percentage (.416).
Semifinalists for the award will be named on Friday, May 30 and finalists on Friday, June 6th. The winner will be named during the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska between June 14-June 24/25.
