LSU junior right-handed pitcher Aaron Nola was named SEC Pitcher of the week on Monday. Nola is 4-0 this season with a 0.00 ERA in 27 innings. Here is what the SEC Network had to say about Nola:

• Nola increased his consecutive innings streak without allowing an earned run to 53 as he fired eight scoreless innings in a win over Purdue on Friday … Nola limited the Boilermakers to just two singles in eight innings while recording 101 pitches … he walked none and established a career-high with 12 strikeouts while allowing no Purdue hitter to advance beyond first base.
• Nola last allowed an earned run on May 23, 2013 against Arkansas in the SEC Tournament … Nola is 4-0 this season with a 0.00 ERA in 27 innings … he’s recorded only two walks with 36 strikeouts and opponents are batting just .121 against him.
