The NCAA announced Tuesday that Ohio State's football program will be banned from postseason competition next season as punishment for a string of violations. This means the team is ineligible to compete in the Big Ten Championship Game or any bowl game after the 2012 regular season. The NCAA also ruled they must forfeit nine football scholarships over the next three years and added a third year of probation to the school's self-imposed two-year probationary period.
