Judge Rules Alabama's Charles Bediako Is No Longer Eligible To Play

A Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court judge has denied Bediako’s motion for a preliminary injunction against the NCAA’s eligibility rules. That ruling effectively ends his ability to play for the University of Alabama this season and restores the NCAA’s decision that he is ineligible.
Bediako had briefly returned to play five games for Alabama earlier this season under a temporary restraining order, averaging about 10 points and 4.6 rebounds.
The judge found he did not meet the legal standard needed to continue playing while his lawsuit proceeds.
