re: Potential Dodger/Cubs trade discussion: Baez for De Leon+ - LfcSU3520
that's a good question. A hitter like Baez no, but in general probably yes. ...

re: Why do football players want to play so close to home yet...? - LfcSU3520
that could just be the quality of the program. It's not so much trying to win at the school, but access to the best coaches then setting you up for longer career success. ...

re: Why do football players want to play so close to home yet...? - LfcSU3520
I do think there's a socioeconomic factor at play here as well. A large amount of football recruits are lower on the socioeconomic scale so are more likely to stay close to their homes and support systems. But for players in those situations in basketball and baseball the options are different. ...
Basketball, Track, and Baseball teams travel all around the country in the summer. Those kids don't mind leaving their bubble.
frick you might have nailed it. I've wondered this as well, and this is the first answer I've heard that makes total sense. ...

re: Baby abducted from hospital 18 years ago found alive and well - LfcSU3520
Hello Rebel. I still bounce in and out of here from time to time. This post in particular though riled me up and I felt like saying something. Jesus christ was it a terrible post he made. Wish I still had the Premium Gold membership here so I could have him banned. ...
ep saw it all over the local news while I was at work today. Heard they are seeking life behind bars for the woman that stole here. To me if the girl turned out Ok mentally and physically the sentence is way too stiff. IMHO I think the kidnapper should definitely do time but if the girl was n...
Pitcher.
motherfrickers never stop coming being such a skill thing people come out of the weeds later in life all the time. Combined with young talent it just gets more and more competitive. But my answer is still NFL RB. Do it now, or in two weeks you might never play anot...

re: In retrospect how much of a frickup was Lex Luthor? - LfcSU3520
I'm with you at least. It still bugs me but that's just because I'm so tired of Superman movies not being done well. His portrayal was abysmal. I keep hoping there's a long term play there character-wise and he becomes much more menacing and quiet(?) so you see an evolution where he turns just a...

re: USC-Texas Rose Bowl or 2017 National Championship - LfcSU3520
USC-Texas game was better by a little bit with more back and forth and longer tension (this game was boring for a big chunk) but mostly because it was maybe the greatest game by any CFB player ever in Young. That game had it all. ...

Fowler as main PBP guy- underwhelming for anyone else? - LfcSU3520
he's fine and unoffensive but does he lack any sort of gravitas for you guys? There's nothing defining to his game calling. It's like he could do this for 20 years and I don't think I'd miss him when he stopped. ...
