Curiosity got the best of me and I went for a COVID antibody test on Friday. I received my results today and it says I am positive for IgG antibodies and it gave me a number of “55.05 index” which seems pretty high on their positive scale but there is no real explanation beyond saying positive and I’m struggling to find help through Google.

Anyone have some insights they could share to let me know what, if anything, these results actually suggest?

I've been wondering the same thing and it's a huge gap in needed information. What is anyone supposed to be aiming for?

Good luck figuring it out. I got a 120 u/ml. None of my doctors would touch the subject.

If you say you are vaccinated, it's a good number and shows the vaccine is working. If you say you are not vaccinated, the test is not a good indication of protection and that you should get one.

I really wish this test was used more often. Why take vaccine or booster if this number is good. Concentrate of people that dont have any antibodies.

I was tested and the result was 230... My doctor couldn't care less. She also wasn't pushing the jabs... She must just think the Vid is just a nasty virus and not a death sentence.
