Also, is there any practical difference in a cutter and slider ? Some call it a cutter, some a slider ?

According to extensive play of MLB : The Show, the cutter is more lateral movement, while the slider has a more diagonal break.

I was expecting a funny picture of a pitcher with a huge neck. Disappointed, I am.

A SL should be a bit slower than a CT and has more depth. A cutter is meant to just be a fastball that moves at the last second and not really a swing and miss pitch.

If you see someone throwing a cutter and it's 7+ MPH slower than his FB and you can really see the break, it's a SL that he's just calls a cutter for his own feel.

Please don't talk baseball ever again. Especially if you don't know the difference in those two pitches..

This'll be the same type of guy wanting Jay fired after his first series loss in sec play

Go screw yourself! The guy asked a simple question. It’s not like he was on here pontificating. OP seems like a nice guy who wants to learn something about baseball, so he asked a simple question. And you seem like an a-hole.
