Why do songs on my iPhone 6 seem to have different volumes? - PenguinNinja
Never had this problem with my 4s. I have to turn the volume up full blast to be able to hear some songs as well as I can hear other songs with the volume about 70% up. Is there some setting I've got to fix?...
Who is going to underwrite their security going forward ? Right now it is the United States with a nice assist from the Brits who do it for them currently.
The U.K. doesn't even meet the NATO 2% of GDP military spending targets, unlike some of their continental brethren. ...
Wanna know what Scotland looks like, watch Trainspotting. Fit to the T.
Just so anyone who cares knows, I lived there, and this is complete bull shite. The bad parts of the cities (esp.Glasgow), maybe. But the same applies all throughout the UK...including in England. ...

re: Nicola Sturgeon just said Holyrood may veto the UK's EU exit - PenguinNinja
This is all ridiculous. They had a vote. One side won. That should be the end of it.
Right. But it won't be. Scotland has its own parliament, so in the Scottish people's mind, they're not part of the "they" that voted for this. I don't agree with them, but IMO Brexit was a...

Nicola Sturgeon just said Holyrood may veto the UK's EU exit - PenguinNinja
Apparently she believes there may be a legal basis by which to do so. Regardless of whether she's right or not, [link=(http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-36633244)] shite finna get ugly quick-like in the UK & Europe[/link] She's Scotland's first minister, FYI....
It's like this guy stepped in a time machine and was transported here from the early 19th century. re: If things got "war" nasty in Europe... - PenguinNinja
It would in the absurd scenario that the EU declared war on the UK and we sided with the UK.
Sure, but that leads me back to my original question: Why in the frick, geopolitically, would we do that? The continent is a way bigger market and is WAY more significant geopoliticall...
We share a common culture
Why? Because we speak English? We fought a war against these people. They burned down the White House for christ's sake. Doesn't "the West" in general share a common culture relative to the enemies of our time (e.g. The Middle East, Russia, etc.)...

If things got "war" nasty in Europe... - PenguinNinja
...and the EU (i.e. The continent) strengthened and decided to isolate the UK, would the US side with the UK or the Continent. And LOGICALLY (not emotionally)....why? E.g. - Not immediately, but in 10 years time. Edit: I'm well aware this wouldn't happen. I'm just interested in the theore...
