re: Questions about buying supressors in Louisiana - Papercutninja
instance, what if I let a family member borrow the item who is not on the trust. How would law enforcement know if they are on the trust or not?
That's a felony, only trust members or individual owners can be in possession. ...

re: Questions about buying supressors in Louisiana - Papercutninja
Is it still beneficial to own via trust after 41p? Wont all the obligation be the same? Either way, I would still have to notify my CLEO and still do the prints and photo, right?
That's correct, everyone will be on the same playing field so to speak. However the benefit of havi...

re: Thoughts on the new Springfield Armory M1A Socom 16 CQB - Papercutninja
I want to say it was M118 with 173 gr but this was 10 years ago so I could be wrong. I never had to shoot it clearing houses mainly because I went back to my M16 because carrying the rifle was bad enough but carrying mags of .308 on my vest was significantly heavier than standard mags of 5.56. ...

re: Thoughts on the new Springfield Armory M1A Socom 16 CQB - Papercutninja
I guess... if I get an M1A it's going to be wood and steel and who uses 308 for a close quarters weapon?
I did a little "door kicking" in Iraq with my M14 after I broke my scope mount. I thought it would be awesome and it was. But it was heavy, very heavy. It was like clearing c...

re: New Gun Trust Rule ATF 41F Implementation Date: July 13, 2016 - Papercutninja
Currently the new rule reads that way, but I am skeptical as to how long it will stay a part of it. Plus the other side is if you add a bunch of trustees and then they pull it away. Then you've got to either re-amend your trust or make all those trustees comply with the new rules. There's still a lo...

New Gun Trust Rule ATF 41F Implementation Date: July 13, 2016 - Papercutninja
The final date for implementation of the new gun trust rules is set for July 13, 2016. Once it goes into effect purchases made through a gun trust will have to submit photographs, fingerprints and give CLEO notification for all trustees. There is going to be such a run on suppressors over the ne...

re: Spinoff Thread: Parents, What are Your Preferred Punishments? - Papercutninja
Push ups, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, and the Roman chair seem to clarify the mind of my six year old when he needs an attitude adjustment. The two year old is essentially a blond member of ISIS hellbent on jihad, there may not be any saving that one. ...

re: PSA: Gun Trust Settlors/Trustees - Papercutninja
The way the comment to the rule is written it's that you can submit a certification that no information has changed over the past two years. This is somewhat troublesome because they are going to want a picture taken with in the last 12 months. So technically your information will have to change aft...

re: Ruger enters the supressor market with a .22 supressor - Papercutninja
Trusts will have to adhere to the same guidelines as individual purchases, with a few changes having been made to that process as well. Nothing is taking effect for at least 6-7 months but it's best to do it know if you are considering it. ...
