May be one of a few but idc. Never thoroughly enjoyed this place. The best part was the pickles and chips.

Brq gonna be hurting
It was different and good but I don’t know how it survives without him

I wonder where I can get chalky brisket and slow cooker style pulled pork now?

Why is it so hard to just do barbecue correctly? BRQ was a welcome addition to town and then the product changed to essentially a white table cloth Sonny’s.

Nope, I’m right there with you.

I’m sure they do well though, the parking lot is always full.

Their lunch menu is good. The house chips are also great. Main courses severely overpriced. Nothing terrible, but this:

This is pretty accurate. The BBQ sauces help elevate the flavor of their pork.

Louisiana cannot do beef BBQ to save its life, and pork BBQ is great but nothing impressive since it's very doable in your own kitchen.

This is one of our go-to joints. I don't think it is overpriced at all, the portions are huge, we either split or take home enough for another meal. Nice ambiance, very good service, reasonable prices, tasty food, what's not to like?

As far as losing Justin, he had a great opportunity in Montana, or was it Wyoming, happy for him. But BRQ has a lot of resources, LCI, so they'll do ok.

I agree. Most of the time I end up there for a work meeting lunch due to its location. I don't go for the BBQ, but have come to really like the place. Used to enjoy it when they offered 10 different old fashioneds.
