re: Anybody got the Stealth Core Trainer? - liuyaming on 8/14/20 at 12:04 pm I’ve had mine for about three weeks. Wanted something to supplement running and build my core. I enjoy the games. They are fun and well designed to hit all areas of your core. Paid $15 ($10 off) at the time of purchase to get the premium games for a year. Our whole family uses it, so it works out we... re: sur la table, BR - liuyaming on 8/13/20 at 9:55 pm I picked up this Shun knife set yesterday at 40% off but still happy with that deal. I received the same chef’s knife as a Christmas gift a few years ago, so I was excited to see a set with an extra slot in the block. They also had a very nice set of Miyabi knives left. But beside that, there wasn’t... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Kentucky Derby - 14% spectator capacity - liuyaming on 8/13/20 at 7:09 am I went in 2012 when I’ll Have Another won it. Didn’t realize how enormous Churchill Downs was until getting to the entrance. Different perspective on the venue than watching it on TV. They broke the attendance record that year with a little over 165k people. Would love to make it back there in the n... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Walmart grocery pickup substitution policy. - liuyaming on 7/24/20 at 7:18 pm The substitutions usually work out in our favor. For this week’s delivery though, I ordered three of the crystal light flavor squirt bottles for the kids. They substituted it all with a caffeinated version. Definitely not giving that to the kids and glad I saw it before they used it.
The deliver... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Volvo XC90 anyone have one? - liuyaming on 6/22/20 at 3:45 pm All Star Volvo is probably the worst car dealership I’ve ever been to, from the sales process to their service department.
With that out the way, my wife got a T6 Inscription last year and loves it. It drives well and has a decent amount of pickup for a four cylinder. I don’t care for the infota... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Bushel of Crabs in/near Baton Rouge - liuyaming on 5/21/20 at 10:23 pm I’ve been getting my crabs and crawfish from a guy in Gonzales by Ralph’s, [link=(https://www.facebook.com/doghouseseafoodcompanyllc/)]Doghouse Seafood[/link]
He posted today that he had a bushel of #2s for $100. ... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Is pro boil a 1:1 substitute for regular crawfish boil? - liuyaming on 5/6/20 at 10:41 pm
Pro Boil is definitely less salt.
It does have less salt than the regular. I personally prefer the extra spicy zats which I believe has less salt than all three.
If I remember correctly, zats extra spicy also has less salt than Louisiana and Slap Ya Mama, but it’s been a while ... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: Any OTers here ever donated bone marrow? I got the call yesterday. - liuyaming on 4/17/20 at 11:54 pm If I could live through a vasectomy conscious, especially with the smell of the cauterization, I think I would be ok with being awake if I had to.
Thanks again for all the info. You definitely helped alleviate some of the thoughts running through my mind.
Hope to update this thread in 6-8 we... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |

I appreciate your post. Exactly what I was interested in. The person from the registry that called me was also a donor. I think I was too in shock (in a good way) to really comprehend the conversation that was taking place.
I am ok with whichever method they need to do. ... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: Any OTers here ever donated bone marrow? I got the call yesterday. - liuyaming on 4/17/20 at 9:43 pm Will definitely drop everything to go donate if all works out.
Three objectives for my post:
Find out what donating is like
Give a call to action for others to join the registry
And yes, brag that I have been given a chance to try to save someone’s life
... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Any OTers here ever donated bone marrow? I got the call yesterday. - liuyaming on 4/17/20 at 8:42 pm Thanks for the support everyone. When she asked if I would still consider Donating, I told her 100% yes. I would gladly sacrifice temporary pain to try to help save a life. I’m adopted, so any chance that I can pay forward the opportunity my parents gave me, I will.

Any OTers here ever donated bone marrow? I got the call yesterday. - liuyaming on 4/17/20 at 8:17 pm About five years back, there was a local girl around 10 years old that was in need of a bone marrow transplant. One of my friends asked me to join the Be The Match registry. I ended up not being a match. Every now and then, I get the email asking to confirm that I want to remain on the registry. Ot... re: Anyone suffer from Gout? - liuyaming on 1/20/20 at 5:52 pm Found out I have gout through a misdiagnosed meniscus tear. Went in for the knee scope and had gout crystals in my knee. Knee was perfectly fine and the crystals made it look like a tear on the MRI. While it sucked to have a knee scope to find this out, they also determined that I had been misdiagno... re: SEO questions - liuyaming on 11/18/19 at 8:42 pm I would be interested to see what their deliverables and metrics for success are for $2500 per month. The way people are searching for things and how the search engines rank websites are changing. I’m not sure I would go all in on just organic search. Is it purely search engine optimization that th... Posted on Tech Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: Walmart Grocery Pickup - liuyaming on 9/29/19 at 10:40 pm I like being able to walk through my house and go through the fridge to see what we need. We have the delivery option where Walmart partners with DoorDash. I use it almost every week. $10 per delivery plus tip. Walmart recently announced that they’ll be doing a $100 per year subscription service for... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: US Women's Amateur - liuyaming on 8/9/19 at 2:05 pm My daughter really liked playing from 8-12 y/o. We would put her through various golf camps. It was really fun when I got to caddie in a tournament she played in. She lost interest though and is pursuing track and field pretty hard now. She lettered as a freshman last year throwing javelin, which I ... Posted on Golf Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: Best Hole In The Wall Fried Chicken Joints Each State. - liuyaming on 8/7/19 at 8:35 pm I can’t go to Church Point to visit my wife’s family without stopping at Sunny’s. re: Traveling to Canada w/AT&T - liuyaming on 5/13/19 at 12:41 pm Used it in Vancouver last year with no issues. I keep it on my plan now for future international travel. Unlike their previous discounted international packages that charged you monthly, it only charges you each day you use it out of the country. My wife has it on her phone and has used it for work...
