re: Here's what various draft websites had to say about UDFA OG Landon Turner - patendedgmf
of Tim Lelito, Senio Kelemete, Landon Turner, Jack Allen and Avery Young.... Senio was the only one drafted.... in the 5th round... by the Cardinals... He washed out, and ended up on our practice squad. Lelito was a UDFA, who started as a backup and got playing time mostly because of injuries.....

re: Post draft depth chart - patendedgmf
a right side of Landon and Andrus is definitely the goal for 2017-18. and Avery Young's best fit is probably at left guard. If he could work out there, Senio goes to backing up just both Guard spots... Jack and Marcus battle this year in camp, one of them going on the PS, till they join the 53-Ma...

re: Would it better to have Sheldon Rankings applying a push from the outside/inside - patendedgmf
the boldest assertion there, is that Davis Tull is gonna give up the 55 for James, Sheldon is gonna demand the 98, Nick goes back to the 90 from Auburn... and Phillip Hunt gets cut so Onyemata can have the 97. Can't imagine the shite show of an argument between Nick and Sheldon over that 98. Ma...

Trevor Pryce >>>> Jarvis Jenkins is having a career... Gaines Adams was doing damn good... till... :wah: not that any of those guys have anything to do with the ones that are coming out now, or our team needing them or not...

re: Would it better to have Sheldon Rankings applying a push from the outside/inside - patendedgmf
Rankins is not going to be asked to play the nose, or even taken on many tough assignments to begin. We want to put our guys in the best situations to succeed while they transition to a new position like Kikaha, or a new level of competition like Rankins and Onyemata. I think to start off, we'll see...

re: Michael Thomas, the old man. - patendedgmf
Brandin Cooks was only 20 years old when he played his 1st game for the saints??
Yup. "His speed is the first thing that catches your eye. But his savvy, the kind rarely seen in 20-year-old rookies, is what will make New Orleans Saints receiver Brandin Cooks a special player"...

re: Michael Thomas, the old man. - patendedgmf
I know there are two... and i know that's the mistake they made... but they got the BORN IN city right, that's different from Southern Miss' Mike. Damn interns. Then wikipedia says: Michael Thomas (wide receiv...

re: Jamal Murray vs Jaylen Brown - patendedgmf
I can see the similarities with my own eyes.. I was just giving you a quote so you can see that other people have mentioned it... And some shockingly similar stats... You bring up another fun topic, because Buddy's single season is actually better than any of Steph's at Davidson, and he did i...

re: Michael Thomas, the old man. - patendedgmf
smh... two different bday years for Mike on wikipedia, and ESPN the worldwide leader says Aug 16, 1994 (wrong).... all I did was put them out of order, where the hell did they get a completely different date all together? and how old was Brandin Cooks when he started at Oregon State? 9? Let me...

re: Official Saints UDFA Signings - patendedgmf
Still wondering which of these are actually just tryout players. At least four have to be, but more likely five.
So far, camp battles are looking like this: K: Kai Forbath vs Josh Scobee vs Anthony Pistelli Winner gets the job, Losers leave town. FB: Austin Johnson vs Toben Opur...

re: What is your Saints draft grade? - patendedgmf
With 4th Round projections, I didn't even give the guy a look... Always thought it would be Kenyan too high, Josh Ferguson late, or nothing at all... I love the measurables ... Travaris should be gone for good now....

re: Jamal Murray vs Jaylen Brown - patendedgmf
You need Boston to stay in front of Phoenix, and for us to not fall lower than 6. AS IS, if we get a chalk lottery… Dragan Bender to Celtics leaves a good shot for Jaylen Brown to Phoenix… Leaving us with one of Murray/Dunn/Hield at 6. You start throwing monkey wrenches into that ball machine, ...

re: Official Saints UDFA Signings - patendedgmf
Just want to send my condolences to the Keyarris Garrett contingent here... Of course he is going to the Panthers, so we'll have to watch it first hand. That kid could have been a lock to be our #5 starting the season, instead he made the decision to go to Carolina, where he could end up #2 or #3 ...

re: Combine Measurables for All UDFA Offensive Lineman - patendedgmf
"Rotoworld college prospects guru Josh Norris rated Allen as a top-50 player in this year's class." ANOTHER Top-50 Player!!! pretty sure we might have them all now. I was having trouble narrowing down our Final 53 if I had Landon Turner and Avery Young making the line rotation... With Kelemete ...
Tyreke and brown do not have comparable games. Not even close
James Anderson is RotoWire's Lead Prospect Analyst: "For those who don’t live on the west coast and like to go to bed at a reasonable time, Jaylen Brown may not be a household name. He will be soon, however. Six weeks ago I...
Hopefully Drew can agree to a reasonable deal. After 160 mill already in Saint dollars frick his life problems. Take 23-25 per over 3 or 4 years and call it a career.
I'm in the camp that thinks that the waiting on his deal is to create options, not stifle them. $25MM per year is fine...

re: Vine of David Onyemata crushing Jake Rudock in the E/W Shrine Game - patendedgmf
A sick swim move on 6'7" 320 Stephane Nembot from Colorado, who is headed to the Ravens as a UDFA. That's the move that probably kept him from getting drafted....
