Are you new here? It rains every day every summer. I will admit, though, it has seemed a little cloudier than normal.

What is damp may never dry.

This hasn't been "typical La weather". Scattered afternoon showers are a SELA staple but it's been more than that lately.

I hate it when it’s in the 90s and higher here.

It’s always so humid and obnoxiously hot.

I can deal with it in the River, on the beach, or by the pool cause i just get in the water but doing anything else is miserable

Just cloudy with brief, afternoon showers here for the past week. I’ll take it over 97 degrees with 99% humidity.

No.
Typically we get like 30-45 mins of rain per day in the summer and it’s sunny the rest of the time. Everything dries out within an hour or two of the rain.

It’s been raining/drizzling multiple hours every day and cloudy the rest of the time. shite hasn’t had a chance to dry out in like a month

Being hot is one thing. Being hot and constantly wet feeling is aweful.

EBR Metro had 49" of rain recorded from Jan thru June, which was right below the highest ever recorded.

EBR Metro's yearly average rainfall is 63".

Livingston registered 64" from Jan thru June this year,

Most people I know that moved out west did it for better weather and not for a job or significant other.

Weather plays a huge role in someone’s mental health and happiness, believe it or not.

And when it's not raining, it's blazing hot and muggy.

Just awful.

The rain is getting to be a pain in the arse, but it sure is nice to not have the air running into the night, to catch up.

My yard is swamp.

If we caught a storm like the 2016 storm, it would absolutely skull frick SE Louisiana.
