I'm usually loyal to Southwest, but I've used Spirit a lot because I fly between NOLA and Chicago frequently on the weekends. I've never had any problems, but I know a lot of people who have. I probably would pay a bit more on a different airline if it was a high travel time. Recently paid $80 round...

This is pretty spot on. Po-Boy fest is one of the few festivals worth going to IMO....

I just made the move from NOLA to Chicago. It was the best decision I have ever made in my life. Found a job in no time once I got here. Lots of opportunities I never would have had in NOLA.
I have not found the cost of living to be much different. It will be my first winter but everybody I talk ...
