They've got some killer rates for around the time of the National Championship game... just wondering if any of you had ever flown with them. I realize with the cheaper fare, there is going to be an expected quality drop off... The only thing I really care about is that the flight arrives and departs reasonably close to the scheduled times.

It's not bad at all if you go in with low expectations. It's great for weekend trips and the like.

Just bring a carry on with you. Check bag fees are kind of pricey.

Goin' up to the Spirit in the sky
That's where I'm gonna go when I die
When I die and they lay me to rest
I'm gonna go to the place that's the best

Just don't do it

I have never flown them but I have friends and family who have

You are fricked if a flight gets delayed/cancelled. Absolutely fricked.

My mom got trapped in Phoenix because her flight got cancelled. They won't help you with anything. No help with rebooking, hotel rooms, or anything.

Not surprising... I know there's some risk involved. But with the price of the ticket being only $68, I'm thinking it might be worth it.

Its just like any other budget airline. Just make sure you bring a carry on to avoid the pricey checked luggage fees. Its super cheap, just do it.

$68? frick it, I'd take a shot with it if it's just for a night or two where you don't have to bring much.

Bring lots of change. Their planes have pay toilets.

Yes it was not bad...
I knew about them charging to change seats, carry on, or check-in luggage though...

I brought a book sack with clothes in it and tucked it under the seat in front of me. I paid 66 bucks for a round trip flight to Dallas. I wouldn't take them on anything longer than a couple hours though.

That the price to "fly". You still have to pay for a seat and pay to carryon

It covers a "personal item", like a laptop case. I figure I can fit a change of clothes and my toothbrush and stuff like that in a laptop case. Only have to pay for a seat if you want to choose your seat before the flight.

I think I'm about to pull the trigger. It's $68 roundtrip and the flight is only an hour and 45 minutes.

Highly unlikely to happen. Like someone else said the worst is if you are delayed or canceled because they will not rebook you or anything. So you'll pay way more than you save booking on another airline same day.

If you do decide to do it know that it is actually more expensive to bring a carry on than to check a bag. The only free thing is a small backpack that can fit under the seat in front of you. So if you can pack in that for the weekend you can save money. Check in online, pay ahead, know that they will charge you for everything, even water. My brother-in-law had to pay $100 for his carry on at the airport because he had not pre-checked and prepaid.

ETA: the reason they are unlikely to be on time is in part because they have so few planes. A storm in Dallas that delays a flight from LA could wind up canceling your flight in Houston.

Just go to walmart and buy a 10 dollar book-sack, larger than a laptop case.
